Pentecostal Assemblies of God-Central Teso social development services is faith based
arm of the church that is committed to carry out the great commission with competence
and productivity, through holistic approach to community development.
Pentecostal Assemblies of God (PAG) Central Teso Pastorate Headquarters, Social
Development Services/Soroti is located in Old Soroti-Mbale Road (after Pamba)

In partnership with Light for the World through the Make 12.4% Work Initiative, we are
seeking to recruit an Administrative Assistant-Intern based in Soroti. In our continued
effort on Disability Inclusion, this position has been purposefully selected and carved for
an individual with a disability.

Position: Intern- Administrative Assistant.

Primary Responsibility:  perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks by providing
support to the Board and employees, assisting in daily office needs.

Reporting to: The Administrative Officer

Location: Old Soroti-Mbale Road.

Specific Responsibilities:
1. Mobilize community members to participate in programme activities, participate in
stakeholder meetings
2. Support in secretarial work and maintain a proper filing system of office documents
3. Ensure that the reception area is kept neat and tidy
4. Prepare for meetings, take detailed minutes, schedule appointments and organize
travels for staff
5. Prepare and Submit activity reports and accountabilities when required.
Perform any other related duties as shall be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:
i. Minimum of a Diploma in secretarial studies or relevant study area.

ii. Must have excellent writing and editing skills.
iii. Excellent time-management skills.
iv. Must exercise strict adherence to Pentecostal Assemblies of God’s Christian
values and be willing to participate in morning devotions
