OUR STORY

The Make 12.4% Work Initiative brings together key stakeholders to create enabling conditions for inclusive economic growth, and allowing persons with disabilities to fully access the job market. Watch video for highlights of what our initiative is all about, some of our ambassadors we are working with and the modals we are using to bring disability inclusion at the forefront.

We are triggering private sector and civil society actors to open employment opportunities to persons with disabilities.

12.4% refers to the percentage of Uganda’s population with disabilities. Our dream is to redefine the workspacefor them.

Organisations that become part of Make 12.4% Work will serve as a proof that people with disabilities have abilities like everybody else.
